Last year, ROADIS carried out the first phase of the ROAD SAFETY campaign: "your safety, our priority" in India. As part of this campaign, awareness initiatives were carried out on the four motorways in which ROADIS has a stake in India: NH-1, NH-2, NH-6 and NH-8.

During last year, ROADIS carried out the first phase of the ROAD SAFETY campaign: "your safety, our priority" in Mexico. As part of this campaign, awareness initiatives were carried out on the two motorways in which ROADIS has a stake in Mexico: Autopista Monterrey-Saltillo (CAMS) and Perote-Banderilla-libramiento de Xalapa (COPEXA).

This meeting was organized by HOAI (Highway Operators Association of India) and the Ministry of Roads and Transport of India.During the conference, different proposals were presented to improve road safety in India, among which ROADIS stands out as one of its main supporters, having carried out campaigns to improve the lighting in its assets and speed awareness campaigns.

During the morning of June 13th, Dr. Sujit gave a presentation about the Indian Institute for Mother and Child to all ROADIS employees in Madrid. During this presentation, the work carried out by the foundation in India was presented, as well as several real stories.

ROADIS and the Mexican government sign an agreement to carry out the construction and operation project of the Monterrey- Saltillo highway extension, called the Santa Catarina Viaduct. This initiative will be carried out thanks to the close collaboration between the SCT, the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit (SHCP), the Government of the State of Nuevo León, CONAGUA, SEMARNAT, local entities and ROADIS.

ROADIS launches an international campaign to prevent road accidents under the slogan: "your safety, our priority". For one year, work is being done in all its participating concessions with several objectives: to avoid accidents, reduce accident rates and remind users of the importance of respecting traffic regulations. The "Your safety, our priority" campaign has an impact on the more than 225,000 daily users of the highways managed by ROADIS.

The project will have a total managed investment of approximately 7 billion Mexican pesos. The Viaduct is financed through an issue of bonds denominated in UDIs (certificados bursátiles) in the amount of 3,500 million Mexican pesos, with a term of 30 years and maturity in 2049. Furthermore, the financing is completed with an investment of 3,500 million Mexican pesos (about 115M€) of equity invested by ROADIS.

ROADIS has collaborated with the Real Madrid Foundation in the organization of the II Alma Cup in Kheadah (Calcutta). The tournament, which took place over two days, was attended by more than 130 beneficiaries of the project and 16 former students, all in the 5 to 18 age group, who enjoyed a day in which football was combined with the formation of values.

José Antonio Labarra, , ROADIS' CEOparticipated in the XI Meeting of the Infrastructure sector organized by Deloitte and ABC and held at the Casino de Madrid. The meeting was chaired by the Minister of Public Works, José Luis Ábalos, who opened the day with a keynote speech in which he said that "the Government continues to seek alternatives to ensure the sustainability of the highway system.

José Ramón Ballesteros, Director of ROADIS' Centre of Excellence, , participated in a roundtable on the topic "Unleashing the potential of Advanced Analytics in Infrastructure", organized by McKinsey at its Madrid offices.

ROADIS signed an agreement with NIIF with the intention of creating a new investment platform for the acquisition of mature concessions from the secondary market; projects under the TOT (toll-operate-transfer) model; and other opportunities in the sector. This collaboration was created with the aim of creating the largest motorway investment platform in the country.

ROADIS participated in the fourth edition of the GRI Infra Latin America 2019 Meeting in New York ; an event that brought together authorities and leading companies in the infrastructure sector. During this meeting, legal frameworks, planning and other investment strategies and public-private partnerships in the American continent were widely discussed.

On 27 August ROADIS participated in Delhi in the "Second National O&M Conference". This meeting was organized by HOAI (Highway Operators Association of India).

Carlos Redondo, ROADIS country manager in Mexico, participated in the XIV Summit of Private Equity, Entrepreneurial Capital, Real Estate, Infrastructure and Energy organized by AMEXCAP in the Aztec country.

ROADIS sponsored the European Infrastructure Finance Summit 2019 held at the Hotel Riu Plaza España in Madrid on October 16 and 17. The event, organized by Inframation Group, brought together the most important stakeholders in the infrastructure sector for two days. On behalf of ROADIS, during these days, Esther Ayuso, Head of Europe & Innovation, participated in the discussion panel: "Infrastructure project procurement - from pitch to approval".

On May 7th, VIABAHIA Concesionaria de Carreteras S.A. was invited to participate in a joint Special Session between the Infrastructure and Consumer Rights Committees of the Bahia Legislative Assembly (ALBA). José Bartolomeu, Head of the South American SBU, explained the details of the contract, mainly regarding the current progress of the works, the next works and what is the status of the Five-Year Review process before the National Land Transport Agency (ANTT). Workers at the Simões Filho toll booths collaborated during September 6 in the campaign to support the "Life that transforms" organ donation. “Saúde no Trecho” toured the Bahian municipalities again with the aim of bringing basic health care, free of charge. The project will be developed for the second year, after the success of last year with more than 1650 people attended.
